Carol Marin is a tax manager in the certified public accounting firm of Powell, Ebert & Smolik, P.C. She received both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting (specialization in tax) from Texas Tech University in 1992. Ms. Marin began her career with Ernst & Young, L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas in 1993, transitioned to industry practice in 1995, then returned to public practice by joining Powell, Ebert & Smolik, P.C. in 1997.

Ms. Marin provides tax compliance and consulting services for corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries and individuals.
