Stuart Block has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, with a concentration in Federal income taxation, valuation, and broad business consulting for corporations, partnerships, trusts & estates, and high net worth individuals. Mr. Block has extensive industry experience in serving legal & professional, construction, hospitality, real estate, and non-profit organizations. Stuart is also a Certified Valuation Analyst, and an experienced litigation consultant.

Mr. Block received his Bachelors degree in accounting from the University of West Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Stuart began his career in 1979 with Deloitte Haskins + Sells in Miami Florida, and in 1988 joined McClain & Company, a prominent local Miami CPA firm, where he became an equity partner in 1989. He and his partners later sold the firm to CBIZ, a large national accounting and business services firm, where he remained until joining Powell, Ebert & Smolik, PC in January 2009.

Mr. Block is the Treasurer of Austin-based Youth Launch, and also serves on the Heartgift Foundation's annual fundraising committee. Previously, Mr. Block served as President of the Miami Film Festival, President of Neat Stuff, Inc., Trustee of the Historical Association of Southern Florida Endowment, and was a member of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee. Stuart has two grown daughters and a son.
